Audition Information for DMA Groups
Each fall, young people involved in Salvation Army churches across Texas can audition for our Divisional Music and Arts Groups (DMA). These groups rehearse monthly at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, TX and participate in various Salvation Army events and tours each year. We offer the following groups:
BRASS BAND
Bluebonnet Brass • Novice Youth Band • Ages 7-14
Lonestar Brass • Intermediate Youth Band • Ages 11+
Texas Brass • Advanced Youth Band • Ages 14+
CREATIVE ARTS (dance/drama)
Lonestar Creative Arts • Intermediate Creative Arts Ensemble • Ages 11+
Texas Creative Arts • Advanced Creative Arts Ensemble • Ages 14+
For the 2021-2022 DMA Season, video auditions are due by Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 11:59 PM. Click HERE for brass, percussion, and creative arts audition material. To upload audition videos from your Smartphone or computer, click HERE.
Audition videos will be reviewed and group rosters will be finalized prior to our first rehearsal on September 10, 2022. If you have any issues, please contact us and we will be glad to help.
