Music Camps
Junior Music & Arts Conservatory
A week-long program for up to 80 students ages 7-11. During this week each camper participates in band on either brass or percussion, as well as in choir learning a musical, which is performed at the end of camp graduation.
Senior Music & Arts Conservatory
Close to 80 students aged 12-17 attend the Texas Music and Arts Conservatory each summer. The delegates have a choice of five major tracks: Brass, Drama, Dance, Guitar, or Piano. Students will spend two hours each day in a chosen major track receiving instruction from a handpicked conservatory staff. All campers also participate in one of three choir classes: one advanced SATB choir and a beginner/intermediate level separated into a men’s choir and a women’s choir. All campers also participate in Bible study, theory, private lessons, and a host of electives. Normal camp activities such as swimming and outdoor activities are also part of the daily schedule.
