2024 Brass Specifics
Attire:
Round 1: Brass Participants in these categories should wear a collared shirt, along with neat bottoms. Closed toe shoes are also requested.
Round 2: Brass Participants in these categories should wear a divisional group polo or collared shirt, along with pants or jeans (no holes). Closed toe shoes are also required.
Repertoire: Sheet music and accompaniment tracks can be found at the links below for each level. The solo part remains the same, but the accompaniment track is different based on the pitch of the instrument. Baritones, Bb Tubas, Cornets, Euphoniums, and Trombones should use the Bb Accompaniment, while Alto Horns and Eb Tubas should use the Eb Accompaniment. If you would like to have access to the piano accompaniment sheet music, please see the link below for purchase.
At the competition, accompaniment will be provided by our volunteer pianists. If you prefer to bring your own accompanist, please notify the Music and Arts Department in advance.
